I chose this sentence because it shows a little about what's going on the the characters' lives. It gives you a little clue about their lives and how they feel about themselves.

This sentence also stood out to me too when reading the book. I agree with what you said, on how it shows how Aisha and her family live. Good Job Robin!

I too noticed this sentence. I totally agree with what you said about the sentence. It is one of the most descriptive in the chapter.
